Making it easier for Canadians to get around is at the heart of Alto’s high-speed rail project. While it’s still too early to confirm exact ticket prices, affordability is a key priority as we design the service. Our goal is to make high-speed rail the best travel option for as many people as possible.
Right now, we are looking at different pricing approaches to ensure fares will be competitive compared to flying, driving or conventional rail travel. This may include multiple service levels for different travel needs, as well as discounted or reduced fares for groups such as students, families, and seniors.
As the project moves forward, we’ll be able to share more details about ticket pricing and how we plan to keep high-speed rail accessible for a wide range of travellers.
